I can't believe it, I had my first Braxton-Hicks Contraction about 4 weeks ago. I had NO idea they would come so soon. I remember them vividly from my pregnancy with Truett. I did not start having them when I was pregnant with Truett until 24-28 weeks, or at least from my memory. Maybe I just didn't know what it was, but this is without a doubt the practice contractions. I get about 4-6 a day and it's nothing to worry about. I just can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by. Truett's pregnancy was at a snail's pace.
I'm in my 22nd week and feel great, my appetite is ferocious!!! Aghhh... that can't be good. I try to pace myself. I also felt my first bouts of heartburn/indigestion, I felt it when I was 26 weeks with Truett and felt it this time when I was 20 weeks!! I'm definitely bigger this time round, and the little one is bigger also, so far. I don't know if we'll do another ultrasound but he's about 2 ounces larger than Truett was at this point, he is now at 1 lb. :) Now who am I to blame for the other NINE? And to end this mad pregnant woman's rant with a rave, Wayne can see and feel Jett kick. We just watched the little active man last night.

Pregnancy shots...4 and 5 months...

Well it's a .....
BOY!!!!!!! Truett said he has a sister named, Jett! We have not officially named him Jett, but we are pretty certain this will be his name!
Because this baby is due in November and Truett was born in January he will be able to wear most of Truett's clothes. That is a relief. I hope to buy new baby bedding (since Truett's has had it). I really liked our new doctor, Dr. Beiber. He was great and we're trying for a VBAC... WE SHALL SEE!

Up to date...
Truett started sticking his tongue out while he is talking (to give him a baby sounding speech). It drives me crazy but I try not to act like it bothers me.
Someone got a haircut...

Tomorrow.....
I can't believe how fast time has flown, I go for my 20 week visit and ultrasound tomorrow. We switched doctor's and this is my first visit in 6 weeks. Maybe they will tell me I have TWO in there... probably not! I can't wait to know...a boy or a girl! I think it's a boy and so does Wayne. Truett told me the day I found out I was expecting it was a baby sister. I guess we'll find out tomorrow! The Lord is so good!

Where have you been?
We did enjoy visiting with my sister, Nicole and her oldest, Kerigan (she is pregnant and due in January). We met them and Nanna (my mom) at McDonald's a few weeks back.

4 months...
I can't believe yesterday made 16 weeks! Sometimes I don't even remember I'm pregnant, but the BUMP reminds me of this! Truett often reminds me that I have a baby sister in there. We haven't found out what we're having, not 100% sure we will.
We are having a hecal decal of a time with doctors... I won't bore you with many details. I will just say we love, love, LOVE the midwife center in Lafayette, but I'm now paranoid that something will happen (like last time) and I'll be forced into another c-section. That is when I think well THEN I want to be close to home... so I'm in the search for a ob here in town. Many issues inbetween, but like I said, I won't bore you with those details. Please, if you feel led to, pray for understanding and wisdom, two things we are seeking at this time.
I'm on the desktop, so, NO pictures for right now. But, I did take one to commemerate the 4 month mark! I'll post it soon! My belly is MUCH bigger this go round, although I don't think I've gained anymore than last time I LOOK much bigger. I think I looked like this around 22-24 weeks last time, YOZERS!! I'm not complaining. I rub my belly all day long, I feel the little one off and on all day, I can't wait until I can feel him constantly. I love laying in bed at night... the little one is so active when I lay down (or that is when I stop to feel). :)

15 weeks and rest...
Today is bittersweet. Our sweet Paw Paw Pete is not doing well, not well at all. He went into the hospital Thursday evening after a fall. He had a stroke last fall and has been slowly, but surely, getting around. After his fall Thursday he was admitted to the hospital where they wanted to check with his doctors to make sure he could handle the hip surgery. He has been pretty congested but the doctors said, he had fluid all over his body. He has kidney failure from having diabetes for so long and he has had past heart surgery (a balloon). He sounded congested in his throat Friday evening when we talked to him and then later that evening he went into respiratory distress. He was sent to the ICU where things have gotten worse, they put him on a respirator Saturday and said he is "very sick". We don't foresee him making it through the week, but we know it's not our timing. Maw Maw Mary is really having a hard time, if you feel led please pray for all of us.
I'm 15 weeks along today, and feel like this pregnancy has been but a blink of my eye. Last night, after hearing Paw Paw might not make it through the night, I felt the baby more than I have since I started feeling this little one nearly 4 weeks ago. He/she was so active, I wonder if the crying got the baby moving. Well, I don't have an update belly picture, but I am definitely showing. I am weighing the same as I was with Truett at this point, but I'm "showing" much much more.

A long time coming...
Sorry I've been gone so long. Our home (desktop) computer is on the verge of a meltdown, so I have to get on Wayne's laptop. He has been working like a wild man, so I was forced to only look at other blogs :) Well, hopefully I can keep you updated, I just might have to wait until Wayne is asleep. We enjoyed our vacation in Florida. Truett loved seeing the beach and was quite exhausted after a 7 hour drive and a long lunch break in the middle. He NEVER fell asleep on the way to the beach but he did get a good nap on the way home! I will try to not bore you with too many pictures, but what fun would a blog be without them!
Truett woke up ready for the beach, but until mommy and daddy were ready Truett enjoyed watching Mickey and Donald!Truett and Paw Paw made a HUMONGOUS sand castle... I should have taken a picture when they finished it! Paw Paw had a moat and everything around it!
Hey, Mommy!!
He didn't know if he like the sand at first, he said there were ant beds everywhere (he thinks all sand, must be ant beds). He soon realized it's like dirt and began to LOVE the sand!

A baby boy, named Noah...
After reading an article from defendingcontending.com I wanted to post this blog. It's about Noah, a 5 month old that was shaken by it's caregiver while mom and dad were away. If you feel led please pray for this little one and his parents. I can only imagine what they might be going through.

Poison Ivy/Oak
Truett loves to play outside, especially in wooded areas. So, I was not at the least surprised by this new rash. We will just take it easy for the next few days, I know it's not contagious now, but he's pretty uncomfortable by the rash and all it's itching. We are enjoying some extra baths and television.

11 weeks...
I definitly feel bigger this go round! It's like my body remembers and kind of gives to the memory. I'm not complaining, I actually felt the little one this past week and remember this feeling although it becomes more pronounced and stronger. It is reassuring although it is few and far between right now. I can't wait until I feel the hiccups and the rolling around. I have been trying not to say this, but I've been nauseated. I was NOT nauseated with Truett, unless you count the hunger pangs that turned into nausea. I just started about 10 weeks along and it has been coming and going. Now, I haven't thrown up or anything, but it's a come and go feeling. I don't know why I would have it this time and not the last, but like people say "each pregnancy is different". Hopefully this pregnancy will be as smooth as my last one. Last pregnancy I had some spotting at 8 and a half weeks and none this time.
