What all good Louisianians do on a hot day...

Break out the water hose!

Happy Belated Birthday Jacob!!

My sweet little Jacob is already 4 and getting to be such a handsome little man. His older brother, Jeremiah, Nanna (My mom) Truett and I joined Jacob for a belated birthday party at Jump N Jive. My mother in law joined us to watch Truett and his first Jump N Jive experience. We had a blast! Happy belated sweet Jacob!

Hello?!?!

Where have I been you ask, well... just living I guess. We had VBS last week and this week has been catching up on house chores, spending time with family and getting ready for Father's Day.

Last week we spent most of the day with VBS. We were gone all morning and came back for lunch, I'd put Truett down for his nap and then get to eat and maybe take a bath, after he woke up we'd spend the afternoon playing, cooking supper and learning new words. Then once daddy was home we'd spend family time together until it was time for little man to go to bed and then I'd spend the rest of the evening working on VBS crafts for the next day.

Wayne got his Father's Day gifts in two parts. He works a couple days a week on and off rooftops and in 100 degree heat index, needless to say he sweats. He usually sits in a soaking wet undershirt and top, SO, I know he had been looking at some Patagonia t-shirts and shirt. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I ordered them, I didn't want him to have to suffer anymore.

As Father's Day has moved closer, I wanted him to open something for this weekend. He has always loved great customer service companies and he has always wanted to try Zingerman's coffee as well as their other food-by-mail service. So, Truett and I got him some Cinnamon Raisin Bread and Farm Loaf , brownies and coffee. Wayne loved his package of goodies and we have already had some of the Raisin bread for breakfast, de-lish!

Can I get in with you guys?

Weeee... at least for Truett!

But, I didn't want to get out!

Keys!! One of his favorite words!
