Hand, Foot, and Mouth

Truett had this a couple weeks back. I thought the virus was kind of unsanitary but aren't all viruses kind of unsanitary! Here is some of the bo-bos and what we did because we didn't want to contaminate any of our precious friends and family.

Bathtime.... again!

Truett's imagination is picking up, he loves cash registers and debit cards and monies (as he calls it). This bath time Truett would take "money" from the top of the water faucet and then hand it to me and say " Here mommy, take the monies". We would both laugh hysterically. Welcome to my wonderful world. I know to anyone reading this that is not a parent, I seem really silly, BUT, to all you parents out there you know exactly where I'm coming from! :)

What? No more yogurt!! Whaaa...

Truett doesn't cry much, but every once in a while we have a good meltdown! This is a "No more yogurt? But I want Yogurt.... whaaa!"

If Truett had a twin...

Truett and Kerigan may look exactly alike but there is only a month separating them, Truett will be 2 in January and Kerigan 2 in February. They are two peas in a pod for now. They love one another, in that childish, don't take my toys and I'll love you forever, love! We were able to visit for all of yesterday. Thank you for letting us spend a day with you sweet baby doll!

My "Tru Tru" and he was NOT letting go of that stroller, just in case she had her eyes on it! :)

They wanted to hold hands the whole time. I guess that comes from us always saying " hold mommy's hand"

BJ'S, Games, and Lainey, Lainey, Lainey!

Truett has found a new friend, Lainey. She is actually our cousin. She is 9 and loves Truett, Truett adores her! She plays with him in a big sister way and he has never had that. One evening after a few hours of playing with one another we took him and Lainey to BJ's pizza. For those of you who have not had the privilege of eating there, let me just say it is the best pizza! There is a few games and a jukebox. He thinks he is in Chuck E Cheese! Lainey won him a dog from a game and he loves it, I think only because she got it for him! She is a sweetheart and we hope they get to play more and more.
