Sweet days

We have been getting back into the groove of things. We have had family in for the last 3 weeks and we are enjoying each other at the house. Truett and I have had a little bit of allergies, I guess it's that time of year. Truett will be 15 months this Friday, he is all boy! He has been doing flips for a few days. He puts his head on the floor and then moves his legs up until he flips over and we all applaud and laugh hysterically. He loves to color and say the word "color" he loves, better yet, LOVES being outside and seeing kitty cats and puppy dogs.

I have a video I'll try uploading soon.

Oh, the places these little feet will go!

Pooped!

I AM POOPED! We visited with Scott and Becca and Truett has played so hard, which means we have been running after him! Thank you Paw Paw! We enjoyed our visit and hope to hear news of Becca expecting ASAP!!!!!!!! We want another baby in the family :) We took a couple of snapshots while they were in and here they are.

Truett is getting more verbal and able to say more and more words every day. He says the following words very well: color, bye-bye, hello, daddy, shoe, dog, paw paw, no-no, bone and I'm sure I'm missing some words. He loves to say hard things (which means he can't say them correctly) but he "tries" to say "helicopter", "air conditioner", "fire truck". He is really into the fire truck and will squeal like one when you ask him what sound does a fire truck make. He also loves colors, doggies, telephones, bouncing balls, ceiling fans (he says "sh sh" when you ask him what sound does it make). He also makes his lips sound like a car when pushing around a toy car. I'm sure I'm missing some things but I'll post more, later!

Hibachi

Last night Wayne and I along with Truett, Maw Maw, Paw Paw (Wayne's parents), Uncle Scott and Aunt Becca (Wayne's brother and sister-in-law) and Will, Bethany and Sayleigh (friends of Scott and Becca) went to a local Japanese restaurant where they have a hibachi grill. Truett loved the fire and banging of utensils. He also loved the soup and chopsticks. We will have to go back, soon!

Alligator Farm and Family

We went to an alligator farm today, and yes, we ate some too! We had some of there tasty alligator at the farm, but enjoyed the alligator we had at The Landing more. We had a great time with all of Wayne's family. Truett was pooped after only one nap, early that morning. Now, he has a little cough :( Hope everyone has a great week and I hope to update more pics from this coming week, soon!

In hiding... well sorta!

I've not been posting because we've had a busy week. My sister and her little girl have been in for two weeks while her husband was gone on a business trip. We had so much fun and I've tried to post a few pictures of our good times. I'll add a few more. After a busy week, we had an even busier weekend. Friday night we had my parents over for supper and then my sweet cousin, James Bradley, came over and we enjoyed a good visit. Truett loves his big cousin. Saturday morning I worked at a local college giving a ACT test, had a baby shower that afternoon, and enjoyed watching a movie with some friends, Tyler and Bridget. Truett has a crush :) on her. We had a great time with the sweet couple and hope to do it again! Sunday was spent with family at the Alligator Farm... more on that soon!

He wouldn't slow down long enough when we went to the park.
I love his faces!!

What did you do tonight?

We visited a friend, Tyler at his work. He has one of the most exciting jobs, flying a helicopter. Truett has been fascinated with them for the last couple of weeks. So, when Wayne said he wanted to go visit Tyler, we all jumped up and said "I want to go too!" Truett was wide eyed and kept pointing to the blades (I know they are not called that technically, but you get the idea). Tyler was so kind as to let Truett and I sit in the helicopter. I'm sure we will be back up there!!

THANK YOU MR. TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerigan

Long, Wonderful Week

Monday our Aunt Cole (my sister Nicole) came to visit from Texas. We had a blast Mon.- Thurs. visiting and loving on my niece, Kerigan. We went to Sears for pictures (not recommended) and the older (Jeremiah, 7 and Jacob,3) boys, mainly Jeremiah were such a big help. Truett and Kerigan both had a ball.

Tuesday I kept Kerigan for a little while, while her mommy got her hair done. Wednesday was "Family Night" and we had a great time with everyone. Today, Friday I had a lunch date with several friends and their children and we had a blast. Tonight is Parents Night Out at our church. Tomorrow we have 2 crawfish boils (only in Louisiana). Needless to say, we have a busy weekend planned. Maybe we can take a nap on Sunday after church :)

I'll leave a few pictures and some to come later! Some are from a few weeks back, sorry!

Enjoying some warm weather
