Last Mother's Day... I'm so thankful for the men in my life!

My Big, two year old! Who makes me laugh more than anyone in this world!

Wordless Wednesday...

Where did my little baby go?

Have you seen my little baby? He was once a 6 lb. 8 oz. tiny, kissable, bundle of joy! Now he is an energetic, hard working, never ending ball of energy, talkative TWO year old. Where has the time gone?

Lord, let me use this time to capture my son's heart and keep it close and dear. Lead me to teach him your Word and precepts.

Not Me! Monday

This is my first "NotMe! Monday" so go easy on the judging :)

Here is my delightful therapy session.

After waiting 20 minutes to check on Truett so he would be nice and asleep, I found him wide awake with the nice aroma filling the air. I changed his diaper as fast as I could. When he told me he touched his "lizard" and the evidence was then on his hands and shirt. I most definitely DID NOT change his shirt and forget to wash his hands or any other thing (ie. bed or sheets) or just make sure there was not a whole other"lizard" somewhere else, NOPE, not me!

Also, after not trying to get pregnant actually become disappointed to know that I in fact wasn't !! Who would do something like that, nope, not me, I would NEVER do that! :)

And most certainly did not get baby fever after seeing and hearing about so many friends and acquaintances that are expecting!! Not that would never be me!

So, there you have it, my first NotMe! Monday.... Hopefully, I will improve weekly and start remembering all the embarrassing things that went on that week!

STUFF ...and the absence of it.

Many Christians believe the best thing they can do for their family is provide them with more stuff. So we continue to accumulate as though accumulation is the answer. All the while our children are screaming at us from beneath the piles of untouched toys and unworn clothes begging for a few minutes of our time. Time we simply don’t have because we are too busy trying to find that one thing we can add to the pile that will make the screaming stop.
