Good-bye Sweet "Cott and Beck Beck"

Truett was infatuated with Uncle Scott and Aunt Becca's house, dogs, and even with them. He talks about them daily and we wish we could visit you guys more often. Here was us leaving them, only Uncle Scott could make it to see us off but we'll miss you both terribly.

This is an understated picture of the way Truett felt and acted on our trip! You can see in the following picture just how much his mood changed when I told him we had to leave Uncle Scott and Aunt Becca and it would be a while before we could see them again. He truly seemed to understand it in parts.
He never cried but looked like he could try to get a tear!
Uncle Scott tried very hard to cheer him up!

It worked a little bit!

Take me back to MAYBERRY, Part 1

Mount Airy and Mayberry very well may have been our highlight of the trip. None of us, except for Paw Paw, really WANTED to go. But after Paw Paw's recommendation and everyone wanting everyone else to have a great trip we decided it couldn't hurt us! We had a fast, but very nice time!
Look carefully to the right of the police car, there were "street preachers" on that corner. Preach it, brothers!
Me, Truett, and Barn!
Wayne's so very clever shot!
Don't give the man a camera, he will shoot every random picture, hey Uncle Scott (in the background)

We're Back... but not back in POWER

We picked a great time to leave the great state of Louisiana. We were gone for 1 week to see Uncle Scott (Wayne's brother) and Aunt Rebecca (sis-in-law). We had a blast and I'll have a few pictures up for the next few days showing you, in pictures, how much fun we really did have! When we got back we had no electricity for a total of 5 days, and our sewage line was backed up, MMM... I love the smell of sewage (sarcasm noted)!

Truett was a WONDERFUL passenger, he was always complimented on his behavior and really was a little cherub!

Mommy and Truett playing by the "pony" at PF Cheng, thank you everyone for letting me go to my favorite restraunt!
All clear, daddy!

Truett was very patient while we waited for a half hour and was about to lose his patience after the meal took an hour and a half, we (Wayne, Paw Paw, and myself) took turns taking Truett outside to let him "get his energy" out! He was VERY sleepy that night!

I'll write more soon as to what is going on in our lives right now!
